Pat and Margaret Maher established Galtee Engineering (Perth) P/L in Naval Base, south of Perth between Henderson and Kwinana in September 2005.

They are also the current owners and operators of Galtee Engineering in Kalgoorlie Western Australia which has been in operation since 1994 servicing the Goldfields Mining region

Galtee Engineering (Perth) is a privately owned and operated environmentally conscious, and Health and Safety orientated company servicing the Mining Industry in Australia and overseas.

We provide a full range of services to our clients to ensure their earth mover machinery performs far beyond the O.E.M. intended service intervals. We provide specialised in house services including Boilermaking and Welding, in addition to providing these services we have been fortunate enough to establish strong relationships with some of the states best providers of line-boring, machining, Sandblasting, Glass replacement, electrical repairs, upholstery, sign writing, and mechanical repairs. NDT weld testing using Magnaflux, ultrasound and X-Ray where applicable, plus certification services to cater for all our client requirements.

We have specific capabilities to carry out repairs to all Earth Moving machines and we specialize in Elphinstone, Caterpillar, Volvo, Tamrock, Komatsu and Atlas Copco machines.

We are experienced in the repair and manufacture of components using a range of materials including; Mild Steel, Low Carbon Steels, Quench and Tempered Steel, Aluminium, Stainless Steel as well as a range of cast alloy Steels.
